Entirely User-Friendly

Lipp prides itself on its basic concept simple to grasp, allowing users to select a silent video from the compiled list in the app and dub their recording over it. The silent videos are sourced from its user community and come in diverse categories including film, vintage, celebrities, sports and music. If the available footage doesn't meet your requirements, you can upload a short clip from your personal device.

Replay and Share

After recording your dub, you have the option to replay, modify it as you please, before saving it in your gallery. Additionally, you have the liberty to share your creation via WhatsApp or on other social media platforms.

A Wide Selection

Lipp's design lets the user scroll through its popular, new or categorized menus, or to directly find the video they want. However, the search feature could do with some improvements. For instance, a complete hashtag needs to be entered because it can't recognize partial terms. There is an autocomplete function, but it pops up only when a complete word is input.

The process of uploading new videos is straightforward for users – just tap the upload button and select the video. The final steps involve trimming it to meet the 15-second limit. Original videos won't be shared with the whole app audience. To make them more publicly available, users will need to upload to Lipp's official website, where submissions undergo moderation prior to public release.
